I am Saiyed Roomi Shamail. I would like to take this opportunity to put into words my ideology and vision to create Maulana Rumi Foundation.
Maulana Rumi has been the source of my inspiration. In our history, some individuals have developed very powerful concepts of humanity and moved millions of people by articulating their thoughts creatively. That’s exactly what Maulana Rumi did and created an everlasting impact and touched hearts of millions including me. The eminent Sufi and Persian poet Mowlana Jalaluddin Rumi (1207-1273) has been one such figure who has not only given an inspirational meaning to human life but has also expressed his thoughts through poetry and inspired countless people across centuries.
Maulana Rumi emphasis on the fact that the human soul needs to develop a strong relationship with God and human beings. To love the Creator, one needs first to learn how to love His creation, ie human beings. Without loving mankind, one cannot achieve divine inspiration. In short, according to Rumi, love for God and His creation is crucial for human salvation.
Love for Humankind is my motto for life and my sole purpose to live by.
Despite the on-trend rhetoric and optimism, the chances of (all but) ending absolute poverty in our generation are slim. The chances of ending poverty altogether are zero. But I am of the belief that everything is possible with the right amount of perseverance and dedication.
I am taking this opportunity to hereby request you to make whatever donations you can for the sake of humanity. Your generous donations will make it possible for us to reach out to the poorest and the deserving people present all around us. You can as well volunteer with us from any part of the world you are currently living in. With your generous donation, we can scale our feeding provisions for families who reach to us for critical feeding support.
Always remember, we rise by lifting others.

[Al Quran 3:135]
So Allah gave them the reward of this world, as also an excellent reward of the next; and Allah loves those who do good.
